Dimensions supply information about the size, location, and orientation of elements, such as the length of a line, the distance between two points, or the angle of a line. Dimensions are associative to the elements they refer to, so design changes can be made easily.
To dimension elements, you choose one of the dimension commands from the Dimension toolbar, and then select the elements to be dimensioned. As dimensions are placed, SmartSketch shows a temporary, dynamic display of the dimension being placed. This temporary display shows what the dimension will look like if the current mouse cursor position is selected. The dimension orientation changes depending on where the mouse cursor is moved
