Make Lines and Fillets Associative

You can apply relationships as you draw and place elements by using the relationship indicators that appear by the pointer. You can also apply relationships to elements that you have already placed on the drawing sheet.

To apply relationships to elements that you have already placed on the drawing sheet, click a button on the Relationship toolbar and then select the elements you want to relate. When you apply a relationship between elements, the elements are modified to reflect the relationship. 

For example, selecting Equal and clicking two circles makes the two circles equal in size.

In this lesson, you will apply an equal relationship between the upper- and lower-left corners of the parking lot drawing.

Click the Show Me   button on the SmartSketch Learning Center toolbar to view a demonstration of the tasks in this lesson.

1. On the Main toolbar, click the Relationships button.
2. On the Relationships toolbar, click the Equal button.

• The Equal button applies an equal relationship between two or more elements. For example, you can make two circles have the same radius.

3. On the drawing sheet, click both fillets.
