One or more open elements can be extended until they intersect with the nearest element in the active window. The extension direction is determined by the position where you select the element to extend. For example, if you select a horizontal line to the right of its midpoint, the line extends to the right. If there is no possible intersection between the element you want to extend and any other element in the view, the command does not extend the element.

In this lesson, you will modify the Parking.ingr file using the Extend to Next button.
