Finish the Office Layout

For this lesson, you will use use the Symbol Explorer and the Attribute Viewer to customize the Office Layout.

Click the Show Me   button on the SmartSketch Learning Center toolbar to view a demonstration of the tasks discussed in this lesson.

1. From the Office Layout folder in the Symbol Explorer, drag the Door Right (parametric).sym symbol onto the drawing sheet and drop it in the lower-right corner of the lower wall.
2. In the Attribute Viewer, change the Door Width attribute to 3' 2".
3. In the Symbol Explorer, open the Misc folder and locate the Plant.sym symbol.
4. Drag the plant symbol onto the drawing sheet and drop it between the door and bookcase.
5. Select the Printer, and drag the Printer symbol to the upper-right side of the desk.
6. With the printer still selected, right-click your mouse. The printer is highlighted, right-click on top of the printer.
7. From the shortcut menu, select Push Down.

The printer is pushed beneath the credenza.
