Rotate Office Symbols
You can rotate a symbol about its center with the symbol rotate handle. The
rotate handle appears as a green circle to the right of the symbol. Dragging the
rotate handle closer to the center of a symbol's range box causes the symbol to
rotate at larger angles. Dragging the rotate handle further away from a symbol's
center causes the symbol to rotate at smaller angles.
You can also rotate a symbol by the rotation angle. When you drag a symbol or
align it to an element, you can press the left or right arrow keys. This rotates
the symbol in 15 degree increments by default. Some symbols are designed to
rotate at different increments.
In this lesson, you will rotate a symbol using the symbol's rotate handle.
Then, you will rotate another symbol using the arrow keys on your
keyboard.
