A connector will connect to native graphic objects such as lines and circles as well as complex objects like symbols and groups. The command uses intelligent routing to maintain connections between objects and symbols.
In this lesson, you will place the Peripheral Cable.sym symbol onto your drawing sheet. You'll then insert a vertex and connect the cable to a keypoint on the printer symbol.

Note
Key points appear as hollow gray circles with X's (
) to indicate
potential key points (such as endpoint, midpoint, and others) on a symbol
when the symbol is located by a pointer. The gray key point becomes a red target point
when you connect to it.
