Start a New Diagram
When you start the software, a new document is displayed. This document is
based on the Normal.igr template and has a drawing sheet. Templates are
the starting point for creating a document. A template is a file that provides
tools such as text, formats, geometry, dimensions, units of measurement, and
styles that apply specified formats to elements in the drawing. The template
that you use depends on the type of information you want to put in the document.
In this exercise, you will open the Network Diagram template.
