The Fillet command is used to draw a fillet between two elements. The elements can be arcs, lines, circles, ellipses, or curves.

In this lesson, you will draw a box and then use the Fillet command on the Draw toolbar to place a fillet at each corner.

  1. On the Main toolbar, click the Zoom Area Zoom Area button.
  2. Click the upper left of the inside wall of the room on the right and select the lower right corner of the room.
  3. On the Draw toolbar, click the Line/Arc Continuous Line Button button. 
  4. On the Line ribbon bar, click in the Line Color Line Color Button button, and select Red to change the line color.
  5. Draw a 20-inch horizontal line in the open space.
  6. Move the mouse cursor down to draw an 18-inch vertical line.
  7. Draw two more lines to complete the box.
  8. On the Draw toolbar, click the Fillet Fillet Button button. 
  9. On the Fillet ribbon bar in the Radius box, type 4 inches and press the Enter key.
  10. Click each corner of the box.
